1. Add your Search Analytics data from Google Search Console to the 'GSC data' sheet and select how many months of data you are using.

2. Add your keywords, keyword source search volume and competitiveness data to the 'Keyword data' sheet in columns B to F.

(Note, SEMrush works this out on a 1-100 scale whereas Google KWP uses a 0-1 scale. If you are using mixed data from both sources, it is best to divide the SEMrush data by 100 before inserting.)

3. Manually categorise and group each of your keywords as required in column D in the on the same sheet, labelled 'Category'

4. All other data in the 'keyword data' sheet from columns H to O will auto-populate with data, as will the data in the 'Category data' sheet

5. Use this data to help inform where you should focus your SEO efforts based on potential gains, competitiveness and gaps in your website.
